Story
The Captain of the second division, and Commander of the Onmitsukidō, Soifon is one of the two female captains in Soul Society. Taking over the position of Captain from her predecessor Yoruichi, Soifon still greatly admire her, even after being abandoned by the later.
During the battle at the Fake Karakura Town, Soifon fought Baraggan Louisenbairn, self proclaimed King of Hueco Mundo, losing her left arm in the process, and much of her reiatsu in firing her Bankai twice in a day. She then faced Aizen in combat, but is easily defeated.
After the battle, she is taken to the 4th division for healing and restoration of her missing arm. However, the medical camp is raided by the Arrancar by the order of Szayel Aporro Granz, and she is one of the many that were carried away.
