Technical Stuff[]

Forums[]

This link is for the Forum for the game (development & users), which also will give an indication of any recent work done on development. As of this edit time, the SVN noted in the forum is the only way to get the current release (contrary to uneditable first Wiki page). Releases also are of varying stability because of this update process. The game is often updated many times a day.

Fixing the Game[]

Occasionally problems may arise and the game will yell at you in French. The first step is to update your copy of the game, since the bug / error might have been already fixed. If for some reason SVN says it is locked, or stops downloading in the middle of the process, just right click on the folder that has the game in it. Then mouse over Tortoise SVN, click on Clean up and then press OK. If the problem persists, ask in the chat in the forums or check the bug reports on the forums.  Note reporting bugs here will most likely not be seen by the devlopment team! Post the bugs on the forums or devloper chat!

Fixing the Girls[]

When a girl gets a new job trait she won't gain the benefits.  To remedy this remove the girl from the job, exit the assignment window and then reassign the girl to the job.  She should now be proficient at that job.

Adjusting the Display Order[]

Whomever you have last bought (or retrieved from storage) will be assigned to the last spot in the work report.  You can put girls into storage and bring them out again to forcefully adjust the order.  Keep in mind they will only appear as the last girl for the brothel they are assigned to. 

Alternatively you can sell 'free staff' (e.g.: Rogue Goblin), exit the buy/sell menu, buy them back and then assign them to a spot in your brothel and they will be the last one in the daily report.

There is another way to do this and to choose which girls you would like to see in work report. You can use 'Girl Management' screen in brothel menu: lock brothel selection by clicking it's name and tag girls you would like to see in work report in order you would like them to be shown.

Oddities[]

The enemy I'm fighting is actually a big spider!

  • The spider is a placeholder. It will be replaced in a future release.


How To[]

Change your party[]

  1. Select Slaves or Free Staff in the menu, then select Move Character and press enter when you're highlighting the NPC you want to move into your party.


  • Note: Exhausted NPCs & NPCs assigned to jobs cannot be added to the party.
  • To remove NPCs from your party select Current Team, then Move Character, then highlight the NPC you want to remove and press enter.

Increase Stats[]

  • See Stats (above)

Learn Skills/Spells[]

  1. Go to the vender
  2. Click on buy and use the , or . key to switch which NPC is selected.
  3. Press enter to buy the skill. The purchased skill/spell will be added to the selected NPC's list of skills.
    • You cannot sell skills/spells.

Note: Some skills are linked to certain type of weapons and will not work with other weapon categories. All purchasable skills require a base level of a stat to be met in order to be able to be purchased.

Adjust Equipment[]

  1. Go into the menu and pick Current Team, Free Staff or Slaves.
  2. Choose Equipment, then highlight the PC/NPC you want to adjust the equipment for and press enter. Scroll through the slots with the arrow keys and hit the enter key when you get to a slot you want to change.
  3. You can use the , and . keys to switch the currently selected NPC to speed this process up.

Make Money[]

Simply put: Gain more money than the cost of upkeep. A Few Tips:

  • Girls with Construct trait lose less vigor, meaning they can be assigned to whore longer.
  • Girls with the Athletic trait can potentially see more customers than girls without the trait.
  • Loli and Weak girls often have a lower starting constitution, resulting in more exhaustion and higher vigor cost per tumble.
  • Girls worked to exhaustion (0 vigor) can't be assigned to a job. Try to avoid working them too hard.
  • A pair of good bartenders or dancers can make enough money to pay the upkeep of a brothel.

Change Pictures For Girls[]

Find the girl you're looking for in the game folder.
[Game Location]\Graphics\Pictures\[Series] - [Girl]\
Replace, or add, the picture of your choice by using the same naming convention. E.g.: AsukaSoryuLangleyWork37 for Asuka.

On the other hand, you can just put Work. Only the job prefix counts. Ex: Relax 1, Dancer 1, Medic 1, Work 1. Be sure to alway capitalize the first letter of the prefix.


Important Notes: This is case sensitive and it is recommended that you make a backup of all files you are modifying.

Any pictures which are deleted or replaced will be restored the next time you run SVN Cleanup or SVN Update.

Currently the maximum resolution is 800x600. Pictures with resolutions above this may not display properly.

A red ! just means that something has been modified. Don't worry about it.

Quick Start[]

Welcome to Sim Brothel 2 Revival! You can play this game as a brothel management sim, as a classic RPG or both at the same time. You are going to find soon that there's a lot to explore in this world!

First Steps

If this is your first time playing, you might be a bit lost at the beginning. Your main character and starting zone choice will influence your first games a lot too.

Your first priority should be getting some money. At the start of the game, your resources are _very_ limited, so you will want to do some basic quests and spend the money you get very wisely, adding whores to your brothel or building a better battle team. In this game there are both combatant and non-combatant girls. Depending on your initial choices, you should read the *Brothel System* or *Battle* sections to make sure you get the girls with the most suitable traits for you. They are not there just for decoration, so be careful with your choices!

Explore for yourself and don't be afraid to make mistakes, but save often. The game may have some bugs, and you don't want to lose your progress. You have been warned!


Exploring The Game

This game is in continuous development. This means new content is released very often, but also that some parts of the game may be unstable or even just a work in progress.

The devs on this game are a bit cruel, so there's a lot of content that is quite difficult to find. Exploring the world is always fun, but if you want some help finding new girls and questlines, you should probably visit the game forums at http://sb2revival.lefora.com and take a look at the *Quests* section.


Personnel[]

Slaves
Most of the girls that work in the brothel are slaves. Slaves take brothel space, which means you can only have so many of them assigned to a brothel. They can be transferred from one brothel to another, or they can stay at the guild if you want or don't have more space. They can always work as whores, and they don't have a salary; you only need to pay for them when you buy them.

Hired Staff

Hired staff can be males or females. They have a salary and may or may not accept to work as whores, but they don't take space in your brothel. This means that you don't need to transfer them or have space for them. Hired staff can't stay at the guild either. Their salary is paid at the end of each day. If you don't want to pay, you can always dismiss them.

In order to know if female hired staff will work as whores, you need to look at their traits. Only hired staff with *Free Agent* trait will accept to work as whores. NOTE: Free Agents to not recover Vitality from beds the way Slaves do.


Playable Characters

Male playable characters can't work as whores, but they can still take other jobs like *Teacher*, *Bouncer*, *Guard*, etc.

Female playable characters can work as whores and you will get to decide which offers they accept or turn down.

In any case, if you have playable characters assigned to a job you won't be able to leave the brothel (this may be changed in the future). If you want to unassign the PC from all jobs and be able to leave the brothel, you can do so by entering the "whore" or any other brothel job menu and pressing *M*.


Bouncer[]

When you start to acquire larger brothels with many potential customers, you'll be able to assign Bouncers to screen customers and prevent unwanted ones to enter the brothels. This will help you manipulate your market by focusing on specific kinds of customers and stop accepting the others.

How it works is very simple. You have a set of options indicating what kind of customers must be refused entry (More on that in the Management Rules section). When a customer arrives and there is a bouncer available, the bouncer checks if the customer is a valid one: - If they are, they can enter. - If they are not, they may try to influence the bouncer to enter anyway, though they will not do it if they feel threatened by the bouncer. Threat is a combination of Strength, Constitution, Traits and some equipment.


Bouncer Management Rules

There is one Management rule for the Bouncer Job. Deciding what kind of customers must be refused entry. The options are:

- Gold. This opens a sub menu to choose a sum of gold. Customers with less than that sum won't be accepted.

- Social Class. This opens a sub menu to choose two customer classes. Customers of those classes won't be accepted.

- Physical Traits. This opens a sub menu to choose three Physical Traits. Customers with those traits won't be accepted.

- Mental Traits. This opens a sub menu to choose three Mental Traits. Customers with those traits won't be accepted. Note that only Girls with specific traits (mind reading or high empathy) can be effective Bouncers in that mode.


Risks of Bouncer

As a job that interacts with customers, Bouncers are at risk of being influenced by customers. The result of such influence can vary from the customer being able to enter the brothels to the customer fucking the bouncer in the middle of the street (without pay).

To avoid this, assign girls resistant to the method of influence favored by your current customers (More detail in the Customer Influence section) and/or assign guards to the Door to prevent such behavior.


Work[]

This is the main job of your brothel. Girls assigned to this job will spend their night having sex with paying customers.

It happens in two steps. First the customer chooses amongst the available girls the one they like most and makes an offer for her.

If the offer is accepted, the encounter proper starts in one of the working rooms.


The Choice

How a customer chooses a girl takes into account several parameters:

- General attractiveness of the girl (her beauty, her popularity, her horniness, her clothes)

- Whether the traits of the girl matches the wishes of a customer. This is not something you can be sure of, but it is something you can predict as different customer classes have different likely wishes.

- Whether the Refinement of the girl matches the social class of a customer. The higher a customer's social class, the higher refinement they require from a girl.

Take all of those into account when assigning girls to ensure that customers find your girls most attractive, as the more attracted they are, the higher their offer will be.

If the girl doesn't accept an offer, and the customer is patient enough, they will enjoy the side activities your brothel offers before making a new offer.


The Encounter

This works simpler. The better your girl is at sex, the more satisfied your customer. The satisfaction influences the reputation of the brothel and the popularity of the girl.

In more details, how much the customer paid serves as a basis of how much they expect to be satisfied, so if they paid a lot, they're looking for the time of their life.

In addition, some traits can improve the satisfaction and result in additional tips. For example, a Dancer will do a private lap dance.

Finally, vigor and morale loss are computed based on the girl's vigor and girl's and customer's traits.


Hostess[]

When you start to acquire larger brothels with many potential customers, you'll be able to assign a Hostess to welcome the customers.

She has two roles:

- She makes sure to prioritize customers based on the rules you've put in place, the first in line being the first to select the girl they want (see the Hostess Management Rules section for more details).

- She charms the customers waiting in line to prevent them from getting bored. Beauty and Charisma are the stats involved in that part of her job.


Hostess Management Rules

There is one Management Rule for the Hostess job. Deciding in which order the customers select their girl. It has three possible options:

- None: This is the default option where the Hostess doesn't organize the line of waiting customers.

- Waiting Time: The customers that have been waiting the longest are the first ones to get to choose a girl.

- Social Class: The highest-ranking customers get to choose first.


Risks of Hostess

As a job that interacts with customers, Hostesses are at risk of being influenced by customers. The result of such influence can vary from the customer skipping the line to the customer fucking the hostess in the middle of the Hall (without pay).

To avoid this, assign girls resistant to the method of influence favored by your current customers (More detail in the Customer Influence section) and/or assign guards to the Hall to prevent such behavior.


Dancer[]

When you start to acquire larger brothels with many potential customers, some of them won't be able to get a girl right when they arrive. Your brothel will need to have some pasttimes to keep them interested. A Dancing Stage is one of those pasttimes.

The skill of a dancer is given by Agility, Beauty, Charisma and Constitution, along with some trait. A higher skill makes it more likely for the customers to be satisfied.

Every served customer will leave a little tip, but it'll be much higher if they're satisfied.

Risks of Dancer

As a job that interacts with customers, Dancers are at risk of being influenced by customers. The result of such influence is likely to be the customer fucking the Dancer onstage (without pay).

To avoid this, assign girls resistant to the method of influence favored by your current customers (More detail in the Customer Influence section) and/or assign guards to the Stage to prevent such behavior.


Bartender[]

When you start to acquire larger brothels with many potential customers, some of them won't be able to get a girl right when they arrive. Your brothel will need to have some pasttimes to keep them interested. A Bar is one of those pasttimes.

You can only assign one Bartender per brothel that is in charge of pouring the drinks. In larger brothels, you can additionally assign Waitresses to help with the workload and entice customers a bit more.

You have a choice between various kind of drinks through a management option and a bartender's skill to prepare and serve them is handled by Agility and Charisma, along with some traits. In addition, preparing simple drinks is easier than some of the more tricky ones.

Every served customer will leave a little tip, but it'll be much higher if they're satisfied.

Bartender Management Rules

There is one Management rule for the Bartender Job. Deciding what kind of drinks you serve the customers. The options are:

- Normal Drinks. This is the basic stuff, plenty of alcohol, not much taste. It's not really liked by your higher-end customers and drunk customers may cause troubles, but it's very cheap

- Non alcoholic Drinks. This is quite liked by the high society, pricey but classy. Notorious drunk will really dislike this, and may decide to leave.

- Aphrodisiacs. This requires the Brothel to be equipped with an Alchemy Lab. Works as Normal Drinks but provides customers (and girls who would happen to drink them) with additional Lust.

- Soporifics. This requires the Brothel to be equipped with an Alchemy Lab. Works as Normal Drinks but causes your customers to get sleepy. They'll fall asleep in the next hour. If they do before getting a girl, they'll leave angry. If they do after getting a girl, the girl will avoid any vigor and morale loss and they will pay the encounter but leave unsatisfied (unless your girl has some illusionist or mind-manipulating traits). This can be detected by customers, causing a drop in reputation.

- Dream-inducing Soporifics. This requires the Brothel to be equipped with an Alchemy Lab. Works as Normal Drinks but causes your customers to get sleepy. They'll fall asleep in the next hour. If they do before getting a girl, they'll leave angry. If they do after getting a girl, the girl will avoid any vigor and morale loss and the customer will leave very satisfied. This can be detected by customers, causing a drop in reputation.

- High-end Dream-inducing Soporifics. This requires the Brothel to be equipped with an Alchemy Lab. Works as Normal Drinks but causes your customers to get sleepy. They'll fall asleep in the next hour. If they do before getting a girl, they'll leave angry. If they do after getting a girl, the girl will avoid any vigor and morale loss and the customer will leave very satisfied. This is very pricey but will never be detected by customers, ensuring the safety of your reputation.


Risks of Bartender

As a job that interacts with customers, Bartenders are at risk of being influenced by customers. The result of such influence can vary from the bartender drinking (with all potential negative effects) to the customer fucking the bartender in the middle of the bar (without pay). Note that if there are waitresses assigned, they're the ones risking customer influence.

To avoid this, assign girls resistant to the method of influence favored by your current customers (More detail in the Customer Influence section), avoid Alcoholic girls and/or assign guards to the Bar to prevent such behavior.

Cook[]

When you start to acquire larger brothels, you'll get to install a Kitchen. This has two potential uses: Serving Meals to Customers as a pasttime or Cooking to improve the girls' daily meals.

You can only assign one Cook per brothel that is in charge of cooking the meals. In larger brothels, you can additionally assign Waitresses to help with the workload and entice customers a bit more if you're cooking for customers.

You have a choice between various kind of meals through a management option and a cook's skill to prepare and serve them is handled by Agility and Intelligence, along with some traits. In addition, the cook may decide to disobey depending on the kind of meals you plan for the girls. That means that Obedience also plays a role in that case.

Every served customer will leave a little tip, but it'll be much higher if they're satisfied.

Cook Management Rules

There are two Management rules for the Cook Job. The first is deciding whether you want the Cook to work for the girls or the customers. The second is deciding what kind of food you serve. The options are:

- Normal Meals. For Girls and Customers. Basic Stuff, not much effect.

- Cheap Meals. For Customers. Junk Food. liked by customers from low social classes because it satiates them easily, but too much fat for the higher social classes.

- High End Meals. For Customers. This is costly and requires more skill from your cook, but your noble customers will love it.

- Healthy Meals. For Girls. This requires the Brothel to have a Medic Available. Light healthy meals that will make your girls stronger but slows their health recovery.

- Energetic Meals. For Girls. This requires the Brothel to have a Medic Available. Meals with plenty of fast-acting sugars making your girls less likely to get exhausted.

- Obedience Drug laced Meals. For Girls. This requires the Brothel to be equipped with an Alchemy Lab. Works as Normal Meals but your girls act more obediently. Your cook may refuse to serve it to other girls.

- Aphrodisiacs. For Girls and Customers. This requires the Brothel to be equipped with an Alchemy Lab. Works as Normal Meals but provides customers and girls with additional Lust. Your Cook may refuse to serve it to other girls.

- Soporifics. For Customers. This requires the Brothel to be equipped with an Alchemy Lab. Works as Normal Meals but causes your customers to get sleepy. They'll fall asleep in the next hour. If they do before getting a girl, they'll leave angry. If they do after getting a girl, the girl will avoid any vigor and morale loss and they will pay the encounter but leave unsatisfied (unless your girl has some illusionist or mind-manipulating traits). This can be detected by customers, causing a drop in reputation.

Risks of Cook

As a job that interacts with customers, Cooks are at risk of being influenced by customers. The result of such influence can vary from the cook eating some of the food (with all potential negative effects) to the customer fucking the cook in the middle of the kitchen (without pay). Note that if there are waitresses assigned, they're the ones risking customer influence.

To avoid this, assign girls resistant to the method of influence favored by your current customers (More detail in the Customer Influence section) and/or assign guards to the Kitchen to prevent such behavior.


Bath Attendant[]

When you start to acquire larger brothels, you'll get to install an Onsen. This has two potential uses: Allowing Customers to use it as a pasttime or Letting the girls' use it for relaxation.

In the second case, Girls' health and morale recovery will be boosted. In the first case, you need Bath Attendants to provide care for your customers. The skill of a bath attendant is based on their attractiveness (beauty, popularity and lust) along with some additional traits.

Every served customer will leave a little tip, but it'll be much higher if they're satisfied.

Onsen Management Rules

There is one Management rule for the Onsen. Deciding whether you want it to by used by the girls or the customers.

Risks of Bath Attendant

As a job that interacts with customers, Bath Attendants are at risk of being influenced by customers. The result of such influence will likely be the customer fucking the attendant in the middle of the onsen (without pay).

To avoid this, assign girls resistant to the method of influence favored by your current customers (More detail in the Customer Influence section) and/or assign guards to the Onsen to prevent such behavior.


Waitress[]

The Waitress is a secondary job you can assign when you have a Bar or a Kitchen. Waitresses improve the satisfaction of customers. Their skill is determined by Agility, Beauty and Charisma along with traits.

As a job that interacts with customers, Waitresses are at risk of being influenced by customers with effects depending on the job they're helping at that moment.


Teacher[]

The Teacher is a character that helps improving stats of Relaxing girls. There is one management decision which is choosing the stat you want to improve. How it works is very simple. The quality of the teacher depends on the stat she's teaching and some traits.

All relaxing girls with a lower stat level will then gain stat xp and the teacher herself will get stat xp depending on the number of girls she taught.

Finally, you can improve the effect of the Teacher by building and improving the Library.


Dungeon[]

Some of the girls you buy have difficult characters, tendency to steal or disobey. For those, you have a dungeon.


Dungeon Management Rules

There is one Management rule for the Dungeon. Deciding what you want to focus on during your guests' stay. The options are:

- Punishment: Increases Obedience and Constituion for a high loss of Health and Morale.

- Sex Training: Increases Sex and Lust for a high loss of Health and Morale.

- Interrogation: Requires a Dungeon Mistress to be assigned. The prisoner is tortured to reveal secrets she's holding.


Alchemist[]

At this point, Alchemy is in the works and the Alchemist job doesn't do anything. But it is still interesting to own an Alchemy Lab as it unlocks some options for your Bar and Kitchen.

Medic[]

The Medic is a character that helps improving health and morale recovery of your girls. Only girls with actual healing training ( the Medic, white Mage or Healer Traits ) can be assigned as Medics.

The main job of a medic is to improve health recovery and their skill at doing so is handled by their intelligence and their agility, along with some traits.

Their secondary job is to improve morale recovery by having good bedside manners, this comes mainly from their Charisma, along with some trait effects.


Maid[]

The Maid is a character that helps decreasing the maintenance of your brothel by cleaning up. Her skill at doing so comes down to her constitution, along with some trait effect.


Maid Management Rules

There is one management rule for maids, which is deciding whether you want them working during the day, or during the night when they can serve as eye-candy to waiting customers. In the second case, their effect on maintenance will be halved.


Dungeon Mistress[]

The Dungeon Mistress is a secondary job you can assign when you have a Dungeon. She enhances the effects of every option of the dungeon and is required for the Interrogation option. A skilled Mistress will decrease Health loss and increase stat gain. Her skill is determined by Obedience, Strength and Constitution along with traits.


About Traits[]

In SB2R each character has its own traits. There are many types of traits, and they may have influence over the character stats, their effectiveness for different jobs, how fast they learn, etc.

Some traits can be gained or lost depending in the character activities. For example, having a character assigned to a job for a long time may result in the character getting a new trait beneficial for that specific job.

Battle Party[]

The first step before going into battle is creating your party, which can be up to six members. All main characters can fight and they can not be removed from your party, so that leaves you with space for five characters more.


Party Members

Most of the girls you can buy in the slaver merchants are non-combatants (see their traits list), but others can actually fight and be added to your team through the main menu. If you are short on money you can also try to hire mercenaries, who are usually cheaper. You'll have to find them by yourself, though.

All combatants have different classes, skills, and can use different weapons.

Combatants can be added to the party through the "manage team" menu option in the main menu.

Battle Positions

One very important factor are battle positions: Characters in the back row will deal and take half damage, unless they are using long ranged weapons or spells to attack. For example, mages alone are very squishy, so you should always place a melee combatant in the front row to cover them.

Be careful though: If there's no character alive in the front row, back row members will take full damage from every attack. You can change battle positions from the "manage team" menu, or even in battle using the "move" tactic.


Leveling Up[]

This game doesn't work with classical levels, but stat levels instead. Each combat class uses different stats and gets experience points for different stats. Your actions affect directly your stats growth.

For example, if you want to improve your mage HP, let him be hit from time to time. Recieving damage will improve your characters constitution. When mages attack they improve their intelligence. Heavy weapon users, instead, will improve their constitution by attacking too.


Character Development

As you can see, this means that your character development depends on the way you fight and the weapons you use. Many classes can use more than one kind of weapon. Using one over another will definitely have an impact on your character stats growth, so keep that in mind when playing. Do you want a balanced fighter? A specialized weapon user? It's all up to you. You can see the improvement of your stats displayed after each battle.


Proficiencies[]

As you probably already read, each class has its own set of skills. But how do you get new skills? The answer lies in the proficiencies.

Each class has a different set of proficiencies. Melee fighters have proficiencies for the weapons they can use, while mages, for example, have proficiencies based on the elements they use in their spells. You can improve these proficiencies by using your weapons and spells. When you reach certain levels, you'll automatically learn new skills.

Proficiencies are closely related to elements. Some proficiencies can only be improved through the use of specific elemental weapons, which may unlock skills that you wouldn't be able to access otherwise.

Proficiencies growth is displayed at the end of battles, right after stats growth is shown. Make sure to keep an eye on those!


Tactics[]

In order to use tactics you must use TP (tactical points). Tactics are special actions that have very specific effects.

TP points are obtained each turn you stay in a battle. If you don't spend all the TP you obtain during the battle, part of the remaining points will be added to your total TP amount. Maximum TP for your party also increases slowly for every battle you win.

Certain actions can also make you lose TP, like escaping from battle.

Basic tactics (No TP required)
- *Skip:* skip your turn. - *Escape:* escape from battle. Can be accessed through tactics menu or by repeatedly pressing ESC. Success rate depends on party agility (your lowest agi character is important on this calculation). - *Guard:* reduce physical damage taken by half. Also gives exp for constitution stat. - *Dodge:* Doubles chance to evade enemy attacks. Also gives exp for agility stat.

Basic tactics:
- *Retreat:* similar to escape, but consumes TP and has higher chance of success. There's also a certain chance to escape regardless your party agility. - *Move:* change party positions. You can move your character to an empty spot or switch positions with someone else.

Advanced tactics:
- *Delay:* changes enemy turn order. If enemy has lower action priority than you, then enemy will become last battler to act. Otherwise, his action will be delayed after your next party member. - *Preemptive Attack:* your turn order is increased, but attack power is multiplied by 0.8. - *Assault:* your turn order is decreased, but attack power is multiplied by 1.2. - *Meditate:* recover 15% of your *missing* SP. Also gives exp for intelligence stat.

EXP tactics:
- *Mentor:* your character stops participating in battle. Other members of your party get more exp from their actions. Mutiplier for exp is based on mentor stats compared to the rest of the party. Only one character can be using this tactic at a time, and it can't be disabled unless mentor is the last alive member of the group.


Battle Interface[]

Battle interface should be intuitive enough, but there are a couple details you may not notice right away.

Basic Actions
You can use right/left arrows to select the action for the current actor, the one with the blinking name/sprite.

The actions available are: attack, skills, tactics, items and guard. You can also press ESC to escape from battle. Guard and escape can also be selected from the tactics menu, and they are exactly the same actions.

Besides this, you can press up/down arrows to show/hide the battle turn window. Characters at the top will be the first ones to act, but some tactics can change battle order.

Note that the action selection order will probably be different than the action execution order. You can actually customize this a bit by going to the "Manage Team" option in the main menu and changing the order of your squad members.

Dynamic Scoping
Some skills may allow you to target both a single enemy or all enemies at the same time. To select a single enemy, you usually press up/down. To switch between modes, press left/right to change the scope of the skill.

This works for both offensive skills like the spells used by black mages and healing spells for your party.

Changing the scope of the skill won't change the SP cost, but will reduce its power. Find out for yourself when it's worth to use each mode!

Tactic Points
On the bottom right part of the screen you will be able to see your TP or tactic points.

The TPB tag stands for TP Balance, and tells you how much TP have you spent/earned in the current battle. This TP is only valid for this battle, and even if you win and you have battle TP left, only part of it will be added to your total TP outside battle.

The TP tag instead shows you your current TP, which includes your battle TP. This is the amount of TP you can use in the current battle.

Your real TP can be calculated at the beginning of any battle, and it is the TP value minus 2 points (the free TP you get at the start of the first battle turn).

If it's not, please try reporting them in the chatroom if you have the time to spare. It's the faster way to get us to notice the problem and fix it, and if you're around it'll be easier for us too if we need to ask additional questions.

Otherwise, there's a "Bugs" section on the forums. There are already some threads for reporting bugs; please avoid starting a new one unless you really have to. It's not actually a problem, but we monitor those threads more regularly.

What to include

If you want to make our life easier, here are the things you can do to help us track down bugs faster: - Explain what happened or was happening just before you got the error. - Add the exact error message in the report. Or even better, attach the "error.log" file that will be generated in the "_config" folder when an error happens. Please don't copy the whole text, upload the file somewhere (or copy it to \url{pastebin.com}). - Add your savefile. Again, upload it to a file hosting service (i.e mediafire or similar) so we can download it and try to reproduce the problem you encountered.
