Story
A friend and comrade of Ichigo, Orihime is independent, friendly, humorous, sensitive, caring and kind. Exposed to the overwhelming Reiatsu of Ichigo, she too develops spiritual awareness, and follows Ichigo when he invaded Soul Society on a rescue mission to save Rukia.

Later, her powers caught the attention of Aizen. After his rebellion, Aizen send one of his Arrancar to kidnap her, and brought her to Hueco Mundo, as a ruse in the hopes of luring away some of the Gotei 13 captains so he may invade Karakura Town with less resistance.

Once her use as bait is over, Orihime is abandoned by Aizen, who proceed to invade Karakura Town. She ended up in the hands of Szayel Aporro Granz, who traded her through the inter-dimension portal for a large number of souls.
