Story
Tia Harribel is an Arrancar and the Tres (No. 3) Espada in Aizen Sōsuke's army. A calm and level-head fighter, she is in contrast with most of the other Espada in that she prefers not to fight until challenged, or ordered to.
She participated in the battle for the Fake Karakura Town, crossing swords with first captain Hitsugaya Tōshirō, with the addition of the Visored Yadōmaru Lisa and Sarugaki Hiyori later on. Her skill enough to hold the three off.
However, she was later betrayed by Aizen, who stated his disappointment in her strength, before slashing her. She was later found by Orihime, who managed to heal her using her abilities, and transfered to the field hospital as a prisoner of war. When Szayel Aporro Granz raided the hospital, Tia was also captured, but as those in charge of the prisoners are dumb brutes, no one caught on to the mistake before she is sold.
